Achieve your dreams!

I am very interested in the system of education that we have today not only in the United States but all over the world, where kids are being taught to do what the government and society needs. Students are being taught to be doctors, architects, engineers, which it is clearly not wrong but do they really want that career? Or is it imposed upon them by their parents and their schools?  There are many adults today that are unhappy with their jobs even if they gain a lot of money because they realize too late that it wasnt what they really wanted.
Now we have to make a decision on  what we want to do because money is not everything. It is essential but wouldnt it be better if you worked on something you liked and at the same time earn a lot of money? How can you achieve that? Well first start by getting to know your talents and then come up with different ideas. Why are people's ideas succesful? Because their ideas cannot be produced in mass and we fortunately all have the capability of creating our own ideas and being succesful in the same way. .
The  only contribution I make, is to tell everybody to do what they like to do because you will perform it so well that no matter what it is,  you will be succesful.

Name Design Reflection

1.  Describe the design process in the name design project. How was it helpful or not helpful for you?
This design project was helpful for me because I don't usually do as many drafts as I did for my name design and I got to see the different possibilities that there are to improve a piece either of art but also for writing.

2. How does the name design represent you? What components did you use to visually tell the viewer about yourself? (Composition, font style, images, symbols, colors, etc)
There are so many things in that design that represent me. The arrows comes from a mural I painted in an art classroom in middle school, where I got to meet the liberty of art and the enjoyment I had in painting and drawing, therefore this model reminded me of those years. The color blue in the background is my favorite color, and the light blue outlining the letters is the way I colored when I was in Colombia. The letters are a way of making use of the entire page, and not coloring it makes it stand out.

3.  How did you create a focal point or emphasis in your design?
By not coloring the letters it makes my name stand out, out of the blue and the arrows.

4.  What was the most difficult part of this project for you? Why?
It was very hard for me to choose a design because the previous ones did not represent me and I wasn't happy with them either.

5. Are you satisfied with your project? Explain your answer.
I am somewhat happy because I know I could do better. I do my best pieces of art when I am inspired.

6. If  you can change anything, what would you change?
If I could change something, it would be the font of the letters and make more use of the white spaces around the name. I would also put the arrows in a certain pattern so it doesn't look so crazy.
